It records Notice of Intent (NOI) and Record of Decision (ROD) dates for each project and uses Final EIS (FEIS) publication dates to track the volume and duration of environmental reviews over time — providing a comprehensive view of how long these reviews take and how timelines vary by agency, project category, and state.
Data is compiled from the Council on Environmental Quality's EIS Timeline Reports and the EPA's EIS Database.
